Friday Fight 1 - Assassination Through Assumption

Every Friday when I wake and pray, God places something on my heart to help me fight darkness beginning in the mind. How many times do we look at a situation and assume it’s outcome based on past experiences, or what our minds can comprehend will happen? All of us! But doing that allows an assumption to dictate the outcome and limits what God can do in and through us. We really have no way of knowing what will happen in a situation or relationship because only God knows what tomorrow will bring. (Matthew 6:34)

When we Assume an outcome, it frames our mindset, which enables the enemies of our souls to assassinate a plan God has for our lives. We diminish it with our own thoughts. When we we assume, how does that change our prayers? Try not to assume anything and give it to God in prayer. I pray this helps someone today.
