Worship
Worship is a way to express our love for God and recognize Him for who He is. Worship is a type of prayer. Each week, I will be selecting a worship song to share. These songs are chosen as each one powerfully brings my heart to a place where I can focus solely on who God is. I worship God because He is God. He is the only one who has never hurt, mocked, or abandoned me. During worship, God makes His presence known and reveals to our hearts those things not of Him, allowing us to surrender, ask forgiveness, and seek change.
I can feel my heart surrendering to being continuously thankful for what God has done. Worship is warfare!
“Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.” Psalm 96:13
True worship is a matter of the heart shown each day in how we live our lives, a will of the heart.
