Friday Fight 62 - The Descending Demise

Every Friday, when I wake and pray, God places something on my heart to help me fight darkness beginning in our minds. Today is FF62.

How often have we prayed or thought about something specific, and suddenly this incredible idea consumes our minds? Quite often for me. It could be minor or rather intricate in detail, but regardless, we are immediately excited. We pray about it and know that the Holy Spirit has placed something beautiful on our hearts to fulfill God's plan for our lives. We soon realize a dream from God has been birthed in us. But, as we work towards this idea, our excitement dissipates, and this remarkable idea is never invited into our future. What changes in our minds during this time?

The Descending Demise:
God places something beautiful on our hearts, and as the days pass, the excitement of this birthed plan is clouded by over processing. We continue trying to remain enthusiastic, but for some reason, our minds keep dissecting almost every part of this grand plan. The Holy Spirit continues to speak softly to our hearts faithfully. Still, the noise of overthinking now brings frustration and unease to our minds. Suddenly as the mind tries to combat the frustration, agitation consumes our physical bodies.

What is happening to us and this plan God placed on our hearts? It is a cycle of over processing, with its first schedule being to manipulate God's plan for us. Once that target is maintained, darkness will attempt to bring death to what God has birthed. If we are not careful, we completely lose all perspective of this grand plan, and Satan introduces a new plan opposing God's. We are utterly clueless as the agitation subsides, and this new plan emerges before us. The greatest trick of the enemy of our souls is pretending to be the voice of God.

When God speaks to us about our lives, remember that this passion we once had for God's will can slowly be manipulated or destroyed through lies. So, embrace those things God has birthed over our lives, write them down, have faith, remember His promises, and continue praying until walking in His glorious plan.
